ENTER YOUR LEGAL NAME BELOW TO CONTINUE THIS APPLICATION; SIGNIFYING CONSENT OF OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. * SONS OF AMVETS SQUADRON 176 SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS The Sons of AMVETS Squadron 176 provides opportunities for advanced education for the sons/daughters, grandsons/granddaughters of Sons of AMVETS, AMVETS, and the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary who desire to attend an institution of higher learning. The Sons of AMVETS Scholarship Award is based upon the applicant’s scholastic aptitude. The Sons of AMVETS Squadron #176 Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who will be entering as a full-time student at any accredited college, university, junior college, trade and/or technical school in the following school year. The scholarship award is in the minimum amount of $1000.00. The number of scholarships awarded will be determined by the Sons of AMVETS Scholarship Committee. The scholarship awards will be paid directly to the registrar of the student’s school after proof of acceptance and enrollment for the fall term and an address for the school is provided to the Sons of AMVETS Squadron #176 Financial Officer. Should the applicant fail to enter the school where accepted, the award shall be returned to the Sons of AMVETS Squadron #176 Scholarship Fund.
